Join us for a night of Community, Football, and Hope

As the school year begins and fall sports return, the Hettinger Lions are committed to bringing our community together in support and unity.

We invite everyone to join us on Friday, September 12th for a meaningful evening:

🏦Before the Game:
Join us to enjoy a free supper provided by Dacotah Bank for their customer appreciation meal.

🏈📣GAME TIME 📣🏈
Help us cheer on the Hettinger/Scranton Nighthawks as they face off again against Kidder County. Lets get loud and proud and fill the stand!

🕯After the game:
Following the game, the Hettinger Lions will host "Into the Light"- a walk for suicide awareness and prevention. The walk will last approximately one hour and everyone is welcome.

✨Ways to Honor and Remember:
Luminaries will be available to honor those we have lost to suicide.

Honor beads will be available to show how suicide has impacted your life.

Glow sticks will be available to remind us that sometimes we have to break a little in order to see the light.

Information will be available on who to contact if you are struggling and how to help others who may be struggling.

Mental health professionals, school counselors, and pastoral care will be present for anyone who may need someone to talk to

This is a time to reflect, honor, and support one another. whether you walk with a team to remember a loved one or come on your own, know that YOU ARE NOT ALONE. You will be surrounded by a compassionate community that understands.

Lets come together- to support our athletes, our community, and our neighbors. Together we will raise awareness, and bring hope to those who may be struggling and remind them that they are not alone.
